My good mate Tony has now signed up for the ride so it looks like I will have a training partner and a ride buddy, I guess the 300 mile will be 100% easier with a bit of friendly banter and believe me, with Tony its gonna be banter all the way, in fact I am actually likely to be abused and taunted the whole distance, all I will say is ...
Tony if your reading this, you better be training my friend because I am taking no prisoners !
I am sure he will be more than fine, he is a passionate lad and he has just recently done the coast to coast here in the UK and from the stories I have heard he did this in the worst weather conditions known to man so I know he has no issues with dedication.
I am quite excited now, things are starting to come together, I finalized all my info with Skyline Events so they have me fully registered, I have completed my insurance details so I am covered for the trip and my fundraising is coming along nicely.
In fact, just today I have crossed the £500 mark of my sponsorship so thats a pretty big milestone to hit. Not bad considering the small amount of people that have sponsored me. Time for me to check out for now, I am thinking about doing a bit of a ride, or maybe I could leave it with it being a Friday night ? Yes ... I think I will have a beer instead.
