So I ordered my first new toy for Pippa. On the shopping list was new tyres. I wanted to have something a bit flash other than my Continental Gatorskins, don't get me wrong, they are an AMAZING tyre and they have served me well and they will continue to do so but for the big ride its a step up for me. After much much much deliberation I opted for some Schwalbe Ultremo R.1's.
I was quite shrewd on the shopping doing some bargain hunting ... Managed to get a price match at Evans Cycles, they haven't let me down yet so fair play to them on that and they managed to get them sent out within about 2-3 days so it was a swift turnaround even in this horrible weather.

See, now that's a cheeky bargain, I know you are impressed, not going to fit them yet but they will be going on soon, pictures of the finished bike to come as soon as she is ready, Pippa is going to look sexy sexy !
