Its all about the charity baby ...

Of course the main aim of the ride is raising money for Kidney Research UK but at the same time why not support a few more charities whilst in the process ... Its all for a good cause right ? Kidney Research UK

On one of the days in the saddle I shall be wearing this ... Just got this delivered today after a bit of a carry on where for some strange reason I ordered this jersey and I was sent a running vest, ha ha. Are they trying to say something ? I hope not. Tried it on and lets just say I am definitely going to shed a few pound before sporting it, I am going to have to, ha ha ... FATTY !

Help for Heroes is an amazing charity and I will also be wearing my H4H wrist band at all times, its all about awareness for the charities in question and what better way to be noticed right ? Help for Heroes

I have also been to the opticians today to get my prescription sorted and to order these bad boys ...

Oakley Livestrong Jawbones ... Come on, you all know what Livestrong is ? ... I have 2 words for you, Lance Armstrong, Tour De France and cycling legend, he got his name all over these shades so I am doing my bit there too. Oh yes and lets not forget the cheeky wristband too, it would be rude not to. Livestrong

So there you have it ... So far I am supporting 3 charities, not bad I dont think ? So remember  ... Give generously, there are always people who are worse off than you and me, not many people think about these kind of things, but I am hoping that my ride will help more people get into big charity events and get up off their ass and do something selfless for once. When I cross that finish line in France, I will be proud to know that I have made a difference and for me thats all that counts.
